Career Experience
I tutored German and math at a local community college during a period where I was between jobs. I really enjoyed it! I recently retired from my full time IT job (40 years!) and I look forward to tutoring again. I lived in Germany for nine years, so I know the culture as well as the language. I have spent a great deal of time in Spanish speaking countries as well, so my knowledge is not just textbook knowledge. I have friends in Mexico and Nicaragua with whom I have almost daily contact through the miracle of the Internet! I have also completed Spanish courses in Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador and Nicaragua.
I Love Tutoring Because
it gives me a feeling of accomplishment when I see that a student has grasped an idea or concept. Their success is my success as well!
