Art Director Matt Rhodes from Canada wrote about this art work: “This is challenging to explain, but one thing that I love about your work is the “beyond photography” quality. The consistent resolution at which you paint, and the detail that you capture artfully, all make for a quality that feels more “observational”, and therefore more believable. Also, the consistent quality of your rendering makes exploration worth while, because there are so many tiny details that reveal deeper story/meaning. The most important part of this entire image is her eyes reflecting in the window (clearly looking right at us), and you had the confidence to leave them barely visible. I feel like each new piece you post is a class session at art school”.
